Lessons

Our lesson program is customized for each student, with an emphasis on safety, horsemanship, and  proper equitation. Instruction is geared toward helping individual riders meet personal goals according to their abilities.

We have a select group of horses and ponies suitable for varying riding levels to lesson on, and students who own their own horse are welcome to trailer in for lessons. All of our horses have extensive show and/or foxhunting miles.

Training

We specialize in starting young horses. Our program includes lunging and longlining, flatwork, hacking out, and age-appropriate work over fences. We can also work with owners to create a program to help keep a horse going or to work on a specific issue.

Before putting your horse in our program, we invite you to come take a lesson on one of three horses still in our program that head trainer Kate Donis started and has trained since. For information on full training board, click here. If that isn't the right package for you, please contact us to discuss custom options.
